Does anybody here agree or disagree that The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show was out of place on ABC after Disney bought the rights to them?
The only reason I'm asking this is because in 1996. Disney bought the rights to them through Capital Cities/ABC, Inc.
In the fall that year, ABC had a Saturday morning block that consisted of a lineup of cartoon shows that were mostly owned by Disney. The shows were Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series, Brand Spanking New! Doug (this was after Disney bought the rights to the show), Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles, and Jungle Cubs,........
.......and later, Nightmare Ned.
There was even a bumper for that block which was included on the original 1996 VHS release of Toy Story.

In Fall 1997, ABC revamped the block into what was well-known as Disney's One Saturday Morning. The shows that were included when it first began consisted of 101 Dalmatians; The Series, Brand Spanking New! Doug, Recess, Pepper Ann, Jungle Cubs, and The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
In its following seasons, shows such as Hercules: The Animated Series, Mickey Mouse Works, Sabrina: The Animated Series, The Weekenders, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Teacher's Pet, House of Mouse Lloyd in Space, The Legend of Tarzan, and Teamo Supremo.
Also during that same time, a Sunday night movie program well-known as The Wonderful World of Disney was airing on the network.

Despite all of this happening during the first few years when ABC was under Disney's ownership, The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show was STILL part of their Saturday morning lineup. I find this rather odd because Disney and Warner Bros. are rival companies and they have been competing against each other for several decades.
So, I was thinking that since Looney Tunes is owned by Warner Bros. and since The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show is part of the Looney Tunes franchise, the show should've been aired on The WB as part of the lineup on Kids' WB along with THESE shows.
Now, I don't mean to nitpick, criticize, or put down any of Disney or Warner Bros' business decisions or anything but, I feel that if The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show had been removed from ABC's Saturday morning lineup after Disney bought the right to them and relocated to The WB as part of their Saturday morning lineup that took place on Kids' WB, it would've been more fitting for the Saturday morning television season schedule.
I know that this may seem trivial, or unimportant as all of these cartoon shows were aired on ABC and The WB a long, long, time ago and due to the fact that Disney's One Saturday Morning and Kids' WB are no longer in existence, but just out of curiosity,.......does anybody here on this wiki at all agree or disagree that The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show was out of place on ABC after Disney bought the rights to the television network?
