What's up Docs?,
I thought of a new show that Warner Brothers should do in the future where it would be a reboot of the pre 2020 Looney Tunes era. The new Looney Tunes TV series would be simply called The New Looney Tunes Show (or just Looney Tunes internationally).
For the first season of the show it will focus on Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and most of the Tunes introduced in Looney Tunes and New Looney Tunes, sans Pepe le Pew, with characters from other media being added each season. Looney Tunes Cartoons focused on Bugs, Daffy, Porky, and Tweety and it was about them being placed in simple gag driven stories. The New Looney Tunes Show however will focus on every Looney Tune as it will be about them having adventures together in the fictional land of Tuneland hidden in the earth's core, where they can let their antics of hilarity loose in their own humorous way.
A total of 150+ characters will appear in the first season, with the show being inspired by The Looney Tunes Show, Uncle Grandpa, Looney Tunes Cartoons, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Gumball, The Smurfs, SpongeBob, My Life as a Teenage Robot, and Teen Titans Go.
Originally, I was going to call it The Looney Tunes Show, but instead I decided on calling the show The New Looney Tunes Show since there is already a show which goes by that name.
As I mentioned before, Looney Tunes Cartoons has its' own continuity. The New Looney Tunes Show will be a reboot that takes place in a different continuity since the show will be about the Looney Tunes having many a misadventure.
Don't worry though, because Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig, Sylvester Pussycat, Tweety Bird, Yosemite Sam, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Beaky Buzzard, Tazmanian Devil, Foghorn Leghorn, Squeaks Squirrel, Speedy Gonzales and Barnyard Dawg will be the main leading Tunes for the show’s first season with more characters such as Pepe, the Warner Brothers, and the Tiny Toons being added in later seasons. The other characters will get a chance in the limelight as well.
The show will formatted in the style of Looney Tunes Cartoons, and run for 52 twenty two minute episodes, each with 2 eleven minute shorts.
And yes, the characters will all be designed in the style of Looney Tunes Cartoons and retain their classic pairings along with some new groupings.
So what do you think of my idea for a new Looney Tunes Tv show?
