A long time ago, I found a full list of shorts, and some Boskos were on there
What's Up, Doc? is probably because of the Al Jolson caricature.
I think some people abused privileges and ruined things for others.
I kinda prefer it this way. We are a very prostrigious wiki. We are basically all someone needs to know the whole history of Looney Tunes. Obviously, documentaries like "The Merrie History of Looney Tunes" and the cartoons themselves are required to have ful appreciation, but we are where people go to find all smaller info (home video, release dates, animaors, ect.).
People trust us, and that is such a wonderful thing to live up to. It may seem over baring, and I will admit that we seem aggressive to the average reader in some articles, but it's all for the best.

I was in the same space as you a couple months ago, and I'm still learning today. I feel your situation. Don't feel like a warning is a death sentence. If you want edit a page, and you do it properly, you'll be fine. We all appreciate your enthusiasm.
If a more modern short ("Fur of Flying", "Museum Scream", ect) is included on a collection, is it technically unrestored?
I've seen a unrestored print of "Carrotblanca", so I know the 90's shorts can be, but should we count the digital shorts as unrestored in articles?
This is mostly for my planned article on the Back in Action Blu-ray, which features Museum Scream as a bonus feature.
One could call this restoration very "fresh".

Thank you. We obviously can trust Jerry, but we can't trust me saying something he told me because I am not a historian. And that's a good thing. We should not blindly trust people, here or anywhere.
But, it definitely is frustrating, especially since '70s LT is currently a void of unknown info and unavailable content. Truly is the best time for Golden snd silent age cartoons, and the the worst for most other animation.
Jerry said the crew was there just make the shows TV ready, so I'm thinking DFE might have outsourced production and made the title cards in house. But, that is pure speculation.
It doesn't have to be "The Best of Buddy." it can be, for example, "Looney Tunes:Before Bugs Bunny"" or " Looney Tunes: The 1940's" thus shoving out every unfavorable and famous 1930's WB cartoons out the door in one simple, easily marketable package.
I sent Jerry Beck an email recently about the '70's Looney Tunes compilation shows (The Daffy Duck Show, Sylvester and Tweety, Merrie Melodies, ect.) asking who animated them, to which (I'm paraphrasing, as I don't know if he wants me to quote him) that DFE animated them with a Skeleton crew of 2 or 3 people. He mentioned Jim Davis (Probably not the Garfeild guy) and Jim Champin.
I want to add all this info + some other stuff he said to some articles, but I don't know how to use a personal email as a source. Please help.
It's to recreate the theatrial-movie experience. All that's missing (except for some like my copy of "Treasure of the Sierra Madre") is a newsreel.
They've done this since the VHS days. These bonus cartoons are mostly for the film fans, not the cartoon fans.
There are some dvds about with a substantial amount of golden age cartoons (Forbidden Hollywood for WB, Hel*boy for UPA, The 3 Calebraros for Disney, ect.) so those are really the only ones I'd recommend. That is unless you like live action stuff, in which case Warner Home Video and Warner Archive are amazing.
Imagine if a museum never cleaned its artifacts, or withheld artifacts due to PC implications. People would be livid. That is why these things need restored and available. These cartoons are history, and if we don't save them now, how will future generations look back at them?
Also, some Buddy and Bosko cartoons, like "Buddy the Detective" and "Bosko in Person", are considered pretty good. They may not be "Rabbit Fire", but most can deliver smile to your face.
I'm just trying to figure out what's going on so I can help them. I'd assume their going through every dvd, bluray, and possibly VHS, which must be tirering.
