The Big Snooze, Bob Clampett's final WB short

Rhapsody Rabbit

Friz Freleng's Rhapsody Rabbit created an Oscar controversy with it's similarity to MGM's The Cat Concerto

1946 would mark the point where Bob Clampett's and Frank Tashlin's final cartoons released. As World War II has ended, there was an increased focus on the casual cartoons. The studio would also net its next Oscar nomination for "Walky Talky Hawky", the debut of Foghorn Leghorn.
