I don't use Wikipedia anymore. (Plus, I'd need a more concrete source anyway.)
I know you don't but would it hurt to make one edit and update it.
I guess so, but like I mentioned, I don't think Wikipedia will accept this tweet as a source, especially since there's no news articles or other sources attached.
Would it hurt for me to wait a day or two for a more concrete source?

You never know. You realize people don't update articles with very little information so its acceptable. Tweets are acceptable and Devon is a historian. I trust him.
Friz Freleng Family Page confirmed Bob Givens passed away today at the age of 99.
Looney Tunes Wiki is a lot more lenient on sources than Wikipedia is. What may be an acceptable source here may not be acceptable on Wikipedia.

We don't accept original research. Official Friz Freleng is reliable. But we didn't come up with it.

My bad.
I bet if I don't update Bob Givens' Wikipedia article, it'll be updated soon enough. The Freleng family confirmed it.
My concerns stem from the fact that one time someone edited Wikipedia to add the original script from the Tom and Jerry cartoon "The Yankee Doodle Mouse", using it to confirm that scenes were cut in the reissue, and it was rejected.
Hopefully my concerns seem understandable.
(Apparently I checked the article and it now shows him as deceased. Let's hope it stays up.)

You could have seen what he did if you clicked on the link I had provided in my first post...

Oh.
I always thought of him as some sort of Layout or Background artist.
