Notes[]
- The title card is a reference to the 1977 film Eraserhead.
- The ending where Bugs tricks the Russian Dog into burying himself alive and dances away after his "death" complete with the Russian Dog's tombstone telling the audience "This shouldn't even happen to a dog!" is a reference to the ending of "Hare Ribbin'" (1944). Bugs does the exact same dance from "Hare Ribbin'" in the ending, which in turn is partially-reused animation from "A Corny Concerto" (1943).
- After burying the Russian Dog into his own grave, Bugs mentions the episode's title "Bon voyage, bonehead!" before dancing away.
