Buddy the Woodsman is a 1934 Looney Tunes short directed by Jack King.

Plot

Buddy is a woodsman. He goes through his days chopping down trees and wood. A bear comes by the lumberjacks, and Buddy has to get help from Cookie in order to dispose of him.

Censorship

Nickelodeon airings excised the Chinese cook announcing dinnertime sequence with a very obvious computer-accomplished wipe effect, although scenes in which the cook says nothing were left in the cartoon.[1]
