But, Is It Taz? is an episode of Taz-Mania directed by Lenord Robinson.  It first aired 14 Nov 1992.

The title is a play on Rudyard Kipling's famous quote "It's pretty, but is it art?"

The Platypus Brothers build a set of wings for Taz and he promptly plummets to the bottom of a cliff. He refuses to try any more of their inventions, tears up his Warner Bros. contract, and takes a job at a fast-food restaurant, Burger Thing, which is run by a young John F. Kennedy. His appetite gets the better of him, and he eats all the customers' food, handing them the empty sacks. After sucking the ice cream machine dry, and eating every burger that spits out of the burger-making machine, he is fired. Meanwhile, the Platypi are holding auditions for a replacement for Taz, but are unimpressed with Jim Cummings' performance. An extremely rotund Taz rolls onto the stage. The Platypi insult Lenord Robinson's directing skills before making Taz sign another contract and dropping him off the cliff again.

In one scene Taz's contract is shown. It reads:

I Taz hereby promise
  to serve Warner Bros.
1 to take on all my own
  stunts as long as my
  show is in production.
2 to work with all other
  actors no matter how
  hard or difficult they are.
3 I do however refuse
the anvil gag to be per-
  -formed on my
