Notes[]
- This short was considered to play theatrically before Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed,[1] but following the box-office of Looney Tunes Back in Action, this plan was aborted and the cartoon was instead included as a special feature on the Looney Tunes Back in Action: The Movie DVD in Australia only.
- This cartoon's plot is reminiscent to that of "Raw! Raw! Rooster", as both cartoons feature a jealous Foghorn competing against arrogant bully roosters, only for Foghorn to successfully defeat his rooster rival in the end.
- In this cartoon, Miss Prissy's bonnet is purple instead of blue, unlike her other appearances.
- This and the other 2004 shorts sometimes air on Teletoon in Canada.
- The gag of the hens laying eggs when smitten was first done in the cartoon "Swooner Crooner".
- The song "Get Ready for This" by 2Unlimited is played when the genetically-enhanced rooster dances in a dance-off against Foghorn, marking the second instance of the song being used in the Looney Tunes franchise since Space Jam.
- For unknown reasons, this short was not released on the Boomerang streaming service. It has also never aired on Cartoon Network or the Boomerang TV channel in the US, but it aired a few times on Teletoon in Canada. It made its American debut on television in 2021 when it aired on MeTV.
