- This short is a homage to the Looney Tunes shorts made from 1964 to 1969 after the original Warner Bros. Cartoons studio closed. As such, it features the opening and closing sequences that were used in the DePatie-Freleng Enterprises and Warner Bros.-Seven Arts cartoons.
- The short was co-written and storyboarded by Aaron Springer in the style of his prior works.
