- This interstitial is loosely inspired by the shorts "The Wise Quacking Duck" and "Bowery Bugs", particularly in the scene where Daffy and Bugs respectively portray fortunetellers in their respective cartoons.
- Mr. Meek and Steve Brody (from "Bowery Bugs") make appearances on the interstitials "New Love" and "New Job".
- The Little Man from the Draft Board was originally supposed to appear on the interstitial "New Love". Due to legal issues, that did not happen.[1]
