Darrell Van Citters (born 29 October 1956) is an American animator and author, best known for directing the animated television series Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, animating the Nike "Hare Jordan" commercials directed by Joe Pytka, and making artwork for Looney Tunes. In 1993, he partnered with Ashley Postlewaite to form Renegade Animation. He studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts.[1] He also directed The Tom & Jerry Show, Tom & Jerry in New York, and its direct-to-video films.
