Darrell Van Citters (born 29 October 1956) is an American director, animator, and author who is best known for directing the animated television series Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi as well as animating the Nike "Hare Jordan" commercials directed by Joe Pytka and making artwork for the Looney Tunes. In 1993, he partnered with Ashley Postlewaite to form Renegade Animation. He studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts.[1] He would serve as a director for The Tom And Jerry Show, Tom and Jerry in New York, and its direct-to-video films.
