Wraparounds[]
Buster and Babs do another public service announcement episode, with the topic being how to get a date.
Episode Segments[]
Buster's Guide to Dating[]
The segment begins at Buster's room, where he tells the boy viewers the simple steps of asking someone on a date, in which he calls Babs to ask her on a date. Babs also tells the girl viewers about how not to sound to anxious, if the boy who asked her out is a dweeb, a comment Buster find offensive.
The next scene takes place at an office and Babs makes Buster take tests such as an ink blott test, and telling him to say different words after she said a word first. The first two words Babs thinks of are "Love" and "Fun," in which Buster repiles with, "Baseball," but when she says her name, Buster mistakenly says, "Chubby" in which Babs gets angry and ties his ears in knots. Buster then tells the viewers to never ever call a girl chubby.
The next scene takes place at the library, where Babs (dressed like a judge) makes Buster agree on the pre-date agreement, which he agrees to do, but before Babs could date Buster, she called her unseen friend, Harriet to find out what she thinks of him. At first, Harriet makes it sound like Buster is a jerk who did some horrible stuff, until Babs informs both Buster and the viewers that she thinks he's cute. Babs then tells the viewers only to go out with guys your best friend thinks is cute.
That night, Buster arrives at Babs' Burrow only to be greeted by Mr. Bunny (with an evil voice) who told him to come in. Meanwhile, Babs, in her room, tries to look for something other than her normal yellow and purple dress to wear, but nothing seems to work for her. Back in the living room, Buster is trying to have a nice conversation with Babs' father (who is shown to be a monster-type rabbit), only for Buster to inadvertently insult him for his height. Back in her room, Babs is still trying to pick her outfit, up to the point where she asks the Animator for help. The animator paints her normal dress back on her.
After Babs is finally ready, both she and Buster left her burrow, only to realize that their date is over, since it took Babs hours to found the right outfit, and Babs says goodbye to Buster. Disappointed that the date didn't go as planned, Buster tells the boy viewers that they should forget about dating, and do something else with their time, but then Babs appears and tells the girl viewers the one important thing after the first date: the good night kiss, in which she puts on lipstick and gives Buster a big kiss, which causes him to look and act all goofy looking (similar to what he did in the opening wraparound), then Babs pours a large amount of water on to Buster to calm him down. Afterwards, he then takes back what he said earlier about dating being a waste of time and tells the viewers that, "Dating is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!", then faints afterward. The segment ends with Babs looking over Buster, and saying, "Ain't he cute?"
Love Stinks[]
The segment begins at a vacant lot near the city with Calamity Coyote (Dubbed "Devius Coyotius", meaning Evil Coyote) is hatching his new plan to capture Little Beeper (Dubbed "Expedious Birdius", meaning, Fast Bird), placing bird seeds under a can of Acme Tar, where a bowling ball will roll over and hit the can, causing the tar to hit Beeper, thus making him, stick to the ground so he couldn't get far. However, when the fuse of the cherry bomb under the bowling ball didn't set the trap, Calamity was surpised that it didn't work. Meanwhile, having finished the seeds, Beeper runs off. Calamity ran to the trap and wondered why his plan didn't work, when suddenly the bowling ball started to roll and hit the can. Luckily, it missed Calamity, but the ball hit a chicken's nest which was also part of the trap. Calamity decides to leave, only to step on a bowling pin, which causes him to fall into the Tar, covering his body. The chicken flies over him and its feathers cover his back. Just as he is cleaning up, Fifi (Dubbed "Sexius Skunkius" meaning, Sexy Skunk) shows up and mistakes Calamity of being a boy skunk. At the moment he sees her, Calamity tries to escape, but thanks to the tar, he is stuck, and Fifi leaps onto him. She begins to show her affection by kissing him. Calamity, who can't stand the smell, escapes Fifi's hold by inhaling his breath, making his stomach larger so Fifi wouldn't have a hold on him then and runs off as Fifi is seen on the tar pits.
In the next scene, Calamity is on a building while finishing his Acme Jr. Jet for his new plan; flying the jet to capture Beeper, who mistakes an "X" he set up for a Hopscotch line. Just then, Fifi is seen searching for her dream boy where she sees Calamity and mistakenly thinks he is about to fly into her heart, only to miss. Just as Calamity is about to capture Beeper, Fifi uses a remote control to re-route the jet to bring Calamity to her instead, but Calamity takes the remote and accidently smashes into a brick wall.
In his last attempt, Calamity buys and builds an Acme Zap Trap, which is a robot version of a female Road-Runner, but with the press of a button, turns it into a cage. When he sees Beeper, he changes the cage back into a robot female roadrunner, However, Beeper isn't fooled and uses the same remote to turn the robot from a female road-runner into a female coyote, causing Calamity to fall for the trap and get trapped inside the cage. Suddenly, Calamity turns around to see that Fifi is also in the cage and she begins to kiss him a lot. (How she got in the cage is a mystery.) As she was kissing him, Calamity came up with an idea, he would use a file to file his way out. While doing that, Beeper appeared in the cage and blew a raspberry at Calamity on his predicament and left the cage. As Fifi climbs onto Calamity's head and looks into his eyes upside down, she asks him the big question, "Will you be my boyfriend?" While he is being asked that, she is staring at him lovingly with her purple eyes, her tail gently wraps itself around him and holds him in its fluffy coils. Calamity's eyes begin turning green, meaning he can't stand the stench much longer and is about to black out. Luckily, her smell melts the cage and he is able to escape from her again by slipping out of her wrapped tail.
Later, Calamity is seen with boxes of Tar remover, which wipes the tar off of his body, cleaning him once and for all. Suddenly, Fifi appears again, frightening Calamity, as she asks him about her dream skunk and he realizes that she doesn't know that him and her dream skunk are the same guy. Calamity shakes his head, "no," making Fifi sad at being alone again as she walks away in tears. As Calamity feels sorry for her, Beeper sneaks up behind Calamity and surprises by honking like a truck horn. Beeper laughs at Calamity while running backwards, not looking where he was going, causing him to run into a parking meter and fall onto the pit of tar and feathers. Seeing what happened, Calamity uses this to his advantage. He whistles out to Fifi, who sees Beeper as another boy skunk and begins chasing him instead after he flees the scene. The episode ends with Calamity jumping happily to see him come out on top for once.
Dream Date Game[]
For the last segment of this episode we are back in the studio, where Buster and Babs tell the viewers other ways of getting a date, such as a video-dating service or having a friend and set you up for one. But just as Buster was about to suggest the last one (beg), Montana Max appears out of nowhere and complains that the whole dating episode is the worst ideas ever and that they should do something else, something with action and danger. This gives Buster an idea; he asks Monty to follow him around the corner and begins to tie up and gag him. Babs then suggests that they should try "The Dream Date Game."
The next scene takes place at the Dream Date Game' studio, where the announcer introduces Buster as the host, and Buster explains that in this show, a lucky bachelorette will go on a date with one of the three bachelors behind the corner. The first bachelor to be shown is Hamton, who is eating a tall sandwich and asking, "When's lunch?" The second bachelor is Plucky, who he asks, "Can I trade my date in for cash?" The third and final bachelor is Monty, who is seen tied up and gagged, thanks to Buster, and wants someone to call his lawyer. Then Buster introduces the lucky bachelorette, who is none other then Elmyra Duff, who runs and begins to hug Buster, to the point where she wants to take him home. Buster tells her that he's the host and she can only date one of the three Bachelors who are around the corner. Buster then gives Elmyra question cards to read to the bachelors, to decide which one will she go out with.
The first question goes to Hamton, who is eating a watermelon. Elmyra asks him, "If I were ice cream and you were a dessert topping", but then she changes the remaining question to, "what's the capital of South Dakota?", to which Hamton answers, "Hot Fudge Sundae?". Buster stops the show and asks Elmyra what kind of question she asked, as it makes no sense. He then asks her if she ever saw the show before, to which she says, "No", then she jumps and hugs him again. Buster tells her not to touch the host, and then to ask the next bachelorette another question.
The next question goes to Plucky, in which Elmyra asks, "We're at a expensive restaurant, and you find you've forgotten your wallet." Once again, she changes the remaining question to, "Who was the twelfth president of the United States?". Plucky answers, "Pierre, South Dakota". Buster stops the show again and tells Elmyra that no one cares who the twelfth president of the United States was. Hamton answers, "Zachary Taylor," which is the correct answer, but not part of the game. Buster yells for them to stop. Once again, he explains to Elmyra that she's on the Dream Date Game and she gets to pick which one of the three the lucky Bachelors she will go out with, but Elmyra says she wants to date Buster instead. She asks him if the bachelors are all bunnies like him. Buster says, "No, they're not Bunnie...", but then stops himself and sarcastically says all three of them are bunnies, much to the Bachelors' disgust. Elmyra is happy to hear this, and asks Bachelor number three if he is a bunny with a fluffy tail and long ears. Monty says he's not and plans to buy the network so he can cancel the show. As he says this, Babs, dressed like Vanna Pink, comes by and dresses Monty as a rabbit. Just as Elmyra is about to choose which Bachelor she wants, a gong is heard, which means which means the the Q&A segment of the show is over and she must choose her dream date, after the commercial break, which shows a commercial for Weenie Burger.
After the break, Buster asks Elmyra which Bachelor will she go out with: Bachelor number one; Hamton, Bachelor number two; Plucky, or Bachelor number three; Monty. Elmyra chooses Monty, who she thinks is a cute bunny. Babs appears again and says that for their "Dream Date," they will be going to Elmyra's house, in where Monty will be living from now on inside a cage, which will include an exercise wheel, a water bottle for drinking, a feeding trough, and a bed made of shredded newspapers to sleep on. And should he try to escape, there will be an electric fence to stop him. The cartoons ends with Buster, Babs, and Elmyra blowing kisses to the screen.
