Desert Speedtrap Starring Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote is a video game released in 1994 for the Master System console and Sega Game Gear color handheld system. The versions are almost identical, other than color palette and size adjustments.
Gameplay[]
Road Runner must outwit the Coyote, while maintaining his strength by eating birdseed. While the premise is not unlike that of some other popular games for the Game Gear and Mega Drive/Genesis, this platform game suffered in popularity due to difficulties encountered in controlling the Road Runner.
Graphics[]
The desert graphics are well-suited to the Sega Game Gear screen and reasonably faithful to the Looney Tunes series upon which it is based. The sound effects include the expected "beep beep" and pecking noises of Road Runner.
