Donald A. Douglas was a film editor known for working for the Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons from 1969.  He had also worked at Hanna-Barbera and Universal Pictures as well.  He is nominated for 2 Primetime Emmy Awards from 1984 to 1985.

His name is almost a refrence to Donald & Douglas the scottish twin engines from Thomas & Friends (a.k.a Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends).
