Earl Kress (22 August 1951 - 19 September 2011) was an American writer, cartoonist, and animation historian. He wrote for cartoons during the 1980s and 1990s including The Transformers, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, and Taz-Mania. He died from liver cancer at the age of 60.
