Ernie (called Mr. Jones by some fans) is a recurring character in the Looney Tunes series of shorts. He was created by Chuck Jones.
About the Worker[]
He first showed up in "One Froggy Evening". Here he meets his counterpart, Michigan J. Frog, for the first time.
He re-appears in "Another Froggy Evening", once again teamed up with Michigan.
He makes a cameo appearance in Looney Tunes Back in Action.
He is very greedy and insecure, similar to the Chuck Jones version of Daffy Duck.

- Some fans refer to him as "Mr. Jones", a name derived from Chuck Jones himself.

- In the episode The Family Business from Loonatics Unleashed, the owner of Pizza Fest, Mr. Bronski bares a resemblance to Ernie.
