Casbah Rabbit is a rabbit that appears in "Hare Splitter" as the antagonist to Bugs Bunny.
History[]
He is introduced as a suitor for Daisy Lou, making a love rival to Bugs. To get rid of him, Bugs uses a variety of tricks on him but they failed to work.
Eventually, Casbah gets fed up and figures out it's Bugs. "You're that screwy rabbit!" he shouts, clearly not realizing this description applies just as well to himself. He subsequently punched Bugs who realizes that he has greatly angered Casbah and runs away while Casbah begins chasing him. Casbah chased Bugs into the house and Bugs slammed the front door on him, knocking him out.
Suddenly, Bugs sees Daisy returning and runs around the side of the house in horror. Casbah sees Daisy coming up the porch and thinks it is again Bugs dressed up as her. When Daisy enters the house, Casbah hits her upside the head with a vase. He realizes his mistake before Daisy proceeds to beat up Casbah (with help from Bugs) and kick him out of her home. He is last seen running away from the house in terror. This left Bugs the opportunity to woo Daisy.
