Robert J. Walsh (4 December 1947, Chicago, Illinois - 18 October 2018[1]) has written the music for nearly fifty TV series and specials, several Movies of the Week, over twenty feature films and documentaries, numerous commercials, has received three Emmy nominations, and written and produced around two hundred albums for various record labels worldwide. Due to the enormous popularity of his releases on the Hollywood Music label, which are licensed almost exclusively into film and TV shows, his music has been featured in perhaps more film and TV shows over the last twenty years than any other contemporary composer for film and television.
