- William Lava succeeds Milt Franklyn starting with "The Jet Cage" and "Good Noose". However, even after Franklyn's death, his arrangements of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies opening themes were used until 1964.
- Chuck Jones is fired on July 23, 1962 for moonlighting on UPA's film Gay Purr-ee and is replaced by Phil Monroe.
- Friz Freleng leaves for Hanna-Barbera in November 1962 and is replaced by Gerry Chiniquy.
