Wakko sings the 50 states
Wakko's America is a song from Episode 20 of Animaniacs. Like "Yakko's World", the song is a geographical pattern song, although this one lists every single state of the United States of America and its respective capital, however, Washington, D.C., which is the nation's capital, is also listed. Additionally, South Dakota's capital, which is actually pronounced "Peer", is given the French pronunciation to rhyme with the next line. The song's music is "Turkey in the Straw", the lyrics were written by Randy Rogel. The song is the eighth track on the album Yakko's World.
Inaccuracies[]
Although it contains far fewer errors than the "Yakko's World", it is still not perfect. Most notably they claim that Rhode Island and Delaware are next to each other. They also call Washington DC a state capital, despite being the capital of the entire nation and not being part of any state. There have also been animation errors. For example, when Wakko mentions Michigan, its upper peninsula doesn't light up at all. Additionally, most of Massachusetts' coastline is missing. Also, when Wakko points to Tennessee, Tennessee is very close to Texas and to add to it when Wakko says "Elvis used to hang out there a lot you know." Tennessee was in its normal place.
