Food for Thought is an episode of Taz-Mania directed by Keith Baxter. It first aired 7 Nov 1992.

Taz eats the episode's title and credits, then sets up a table and a sign for Le Cafe de Prey. He holds up a menu with a hole cut out so that whatever animal he points it at becomes today's special. He spies an egg on an island in the lake and goes wild. He grunts "Taz like eggs!" a few times before breaking the fourth wall and saying in a perfectly normal voice "Perhaps you've noticed, I like eggs." He spins toward them but stops at the shore. Faced with the dilemma "Taz hate water!" but "Taz like eggs!" he settles on the latter. He spins into the lake only to come face to face with a school of piranhas. After numerous failed attempts to reach the island nest, one final fight with the fish flings him right next to the egg. However, before he can eat it, it hatches into a baby alligator that looks like a cross between Axl Gator and Baby Huey. The baby's mother comes and throws Taz into the lake of piranhas.

  • In one scene, the piranhas are armed with knives and forks, and use bibs.
