Frank Lee Graham (22 November 1914 - 2 September 1950) was an American radio announcer, actor, and cartoon voice actor. Graham is best known as the voice of Tex Avery's reoccurring wolf character who appeared in several of his cartoons, including "Red Hot Riding Hood" and "Dumb-Hounded".

Death[]

On 2 September 1950, Graham committed suicide at his home in Hollywood by carbon monoxide poisoning after his relationship with Disney animator Milicent Patrick ended. He was found dead in his car holding a photograph of Patrick. Graham used a section of a vacuum cleaner hose which was attached to his car’s exhaust pipe and brought under the cloth top of the car to carry the poisonous gas to the car.
