Frank Tipper (19 August 1909 - 20 September 1963) was an American animator who worked for Warner Bros. Cartoons, MGM, Disney, Walter Lantz, Hugh Harman Productions, Hanna Barbera, Halas & Batchelor and Anigraph Films among others.
Biography[]
Frank Tipper got his start working at Disney in 1931 working as a junior animator. He then moved to Ted Esbaugh's studio, where he animated on some early color films, The Snowman (1932) and The Wizard of Oz (1933). He then went to Warner Bros. Cartoons where he animated several cartoons between 1934 and 1935. He would later work at Hugh Harman Productions, MGM, Halas & Batchelor, Hanna Barbera, Anigraph Films, and Walter Lantz, among others. He died at the age of 54.
