Eugene S. Fleury (29 May 1913 - 6 June 1984)[1] was an American artist. He was married to Bernyce Polifka.

Biography[]

Fleury was born in Los Angeles, California[2] and in the 1930s worked for Disney and taught at Chouinard Art Institute. He would later teach at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena with his wife Bernyce Polifka and also worked at Leon Schlesinger Productions as a background artist alongside her for Chuck Jones on several of his cartoons including "Wackiki Wabbit" and "The Aristo-cat" which she designed and he painted.[3] Fleury passed away in 1984 at the age of 71.
