Go Away Stowaway is a 1967 Merrie Melodies short directed by Alex Lovy.
Plot[]
Daffy, tired of Speedy's singing and antics, and prompted by Speedy making him believe it is winter, decides to take a vacation from the mouse. Unbeknownst to him, the mouse has stowed away in his luggage.
Speedy reveals himself once they are on a cruise liner, and Daffy quickly tries to get rid of him, but is tricked into the ocean, narrowly avoiding becoming shark bait. He decides to stay in his cabin, but Speedy again tricks him by drawing a wave background and erratically moving it to make Daffy feel sick, allowing Speedy to steal his lunch. Thoroughly annoyed, Daffy attempts to fool Speedy into jumping overboard by pulling the emergency whistle, but he jumps off the ship and nearly becomes shark food again.
Finally, Daffy drops the anchor as Speedy runs past, missing and sinking the cruise ship. Speedy resumes singing atop Daffy's stomach, with Daffy afloat on the water, stating, "some vacation this turned out to be."

Notes[]
- This was the final Warner Bros. cartoon in the "classic" era to feature the standard "Abstract WB" versions of the opening/closing logos from 1963, although it carries a copyright notice for Warner Bros.-Seven Arts, as the merger had just completed by the time this short was finished and ready for release. This is akin to how the first few movies released after the merger was completed would use the classic WB shield logo but carry a Warner Bros.- Seven Arts copyright, such as Bonnie and Clyde and Cool Hand Luke. Beginning with the next short, "Cool Cat", the logos were updated to reflect the Warner Bros.- Seven Arts merger.
- MeTV aired a previously unreleased restored print of this short on Toon In With Me.
- This cartoon was used in the 1988 title card for Looney Tunes on Nickelodeon.
