Rocky and Mugsy are fleeing from the police in their gettaway car after robbing a bank. The car's wheel is shot by the police and Rocky and Mugsy decide to flee on foot. They see Bugs' rabbit hole and decide to hide down there. Rocky jumps down first catches the first money bag and asks Mugsy to throw down the rest, but Mugsy along with the two other money bags land right on top of Rocky, crushing him. Mugsy asks Rocky if he's okay, Rocky responds by punching him. They soon encounter Bugs who's reading a newspaper and he greets the two criminals. Rocky tells Bugs that they're going to be hiding down his hole until they decide they're done being down there. Bugs gleefully accepts it and asks that the two take their 'dirty laundry' somewhere else because his washing machine is broken. Mugsy laughs and corrects Bugs by telling him that it isn't dirty laundry but that it's stolen cash, Rocky responds by smacking Mugsy's head and telling him that Bugs now knows too much and asks Mugsy to "take him out". Mugsy takes Bugs to another room and prepares to 'take him out' until Bugs asks Mugsy where he's going to take him out, Mugsy is promptly confused. Bugs then tells Mugsy that he doesn't want to disappoint the boss doesn't he? So Mugsy quite literally takes Bugs out, We get a montage of Bugs and Mugsy going out to eat, shopping, watching a movie at a cinema, sharing a milkshake and going for a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Meanwhile Rocky is pacing back and forth wondering where the two are. Bugs and Mugsy return and Rocky asks them where they were, Mugsy tell Rocky that he took Bugs out just like he said, Bugs says he had a wonderful time. Rocky is angered by this and punches Mugsy in the gut and says that'll he have to "take care of the rabbit himself" while pulling out a switchblade. They're shortly interupted by voices outside, Rocky thinks it's the cops and panics. Bugs offers to help them by telling them to dress up like rabbits to fool the cops, Rocky initially refuses but is eventually agrees when he hears the voices outside once again. Rocky and Mugsy are now dressed in rabbit suits and Bugs tries to teach them how to hop up and down like rabbits by demonstrating it himself, the two repeat it but Bugs says it's not high enough and brings them a trampoline. Rocky and Mugsy bounce so high that their heads crash into the ceiling, with their heads now sticking out of the ground, Mugsy notices that the people outside aren't the cops but instead hunters, They get shot at by the hunters multiple times while Bugs watches them, he turns to a calendar and remarks that it's rabbit season and laughs. Rocky threatens Bugs with the switchblade once again but then the Irish Cop shows up to arrest Rocky and Mugsy. Bugs suggests they'd should have a hostage, Rocky then makes Bugs his hostage and tells the cop that he's going to kill Bugs if he tries any funny business. The Irish Cop reluctantly goes along with it and asks Rocky what his demands are. Rocky asks for the keys for a gettaway car, Rocky gets the keys but Bugs interjects by telling Rocky why should he settle for gettaway car if he could have a gettaway helicopter instead. Rocky then asks for the helicoper and recieves it as well, Bugs suggests some more things like a sandwich, designer suits and a bowling ball which hits Rocky on the head, Bugs then asks for another bowling ball which hits Mugsy on the head. Bugs then asks for some tar and feathers, whcih get dumped onto Rocky and Mugsy, eight more bowling balls, liquid nitrogen, two anvils, and super-glue to sculpt Rocky and Mugsy back to normal after getting smashed to pieces, Bugs then asks for two more things, two barrels of gun-powder and 300 sticks of dynamite.
