Inherit the Windbag

Inherit the Windbag (Roadrunner vs. Coyote) is the second episode of the Judge Granny series of Webtoons. It was first released in Fall 2001.

Title

The title is a play on the 1955 play and 1960 film Inherit the Wind.

Plot

Wile E. Coyote is suing the Road Runner for "reckless endangerment" and "criminal negligence"; more specifically the fact the latter wouldn't let Wile E. catch him. After displaying the exhibit evidence, Granny states how the "fair play bylaws" allow the Road Runner to linger at least momentarily in Wile E.'s traps. Granny rules in favour of Wile E. as the Road Runner hadn't live up to his end of the bargain for so long, allowing Wile E. to attempt to eat him. When the Road Runner makes his escape, Wile E. sets his sights on Foghorn Leghorn (who was there to speak for the Road Runner) instead.
