Jack Benny (born Benjamin Kubelsky; 14 February 1894 – 26 December 1974) was an American entertainer. He transitioned from modest success playing violin on the vaudeville circuit to a highly popular comedic career in radio, television, and film. Jack appeared in the Merrie Melodie "The Mouse That Jack Built" where he voiced a mouse who was a caricature of himself.
