Jerry Goldsmith 2

Jerry Goldsmith (10 February 1929 - 21 July 2004) was a world-renowned music composer. He is most notable for scoring a majority of Joe Dante films, including Gremlins, Explorers, Innerspace, The 'Burbs, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Matinee, and Small Soldiers.

Goldsmith has also composed music for other films, such as Planet of the Apes, Patton, Alien, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Poltergeist, the Rambo movies, Hoosiers, Total Recall, Sleeping with the Enemy, Basic Instinct, Dennis the Menace, Rudy, Congo, Air Force One, L.A. Confidential, and The Mummy.

Goldsmith composed music for the animated features The Secret of NIMH and Mulan.

Looney Work(s)[]

Goldsmith did the majority of the score for Looney Tunes Back in Action. However, due to his rapidly declining health, John Debney was assigned to compose the final reel of film. Looney Tunes Back in Action would be the last film he scored; he died eight months after its release.
