Joseph Tapley "Joe" Dougherty (November 4, 1898 - April 19, 1978) was an American voice actor who provided the original voice of Porky Pig from 1935 to 1937. After that, Mel Blanc took over the role and voiced Porky for 52 years.

Joe's stutter became one of the character's trademarks; his inability to control it was a factor in the role being recast.

Joe also voiced Simple Simon, the stuttering contestant in the radio contest in the 1936 Merrie Melodies short "I Love to Singa".
