John Seely (23 August 1923 - 23 April 2004) was a television composer. He is known for composing stock music cues that would be used for shows such as The Gumby Show, Dennis the Menace, Davey and Goliath, and many shows produced from Hanna-Barbera.[1] He often collaborated with William Loose.

When Milt Franklyn and majority of the musicians went on strike during 1958, Seely's music was used for six cartoons released during the year.
