K-9 is a Looney Tunes character. He was originally voiced by Mel Blanc.
About K-9[]
K-9 is Marvin the Martian's pet alien dog. In his debut short, "Haredevil Hare", he and his owner Marvin tried to thwart Bugs Bunny, who had stumbled on Marvin's plans to destroy Earth and stole a component from him. Marvin said he would "call in the reserves" to deal with this, then K-9 appears. Marvin ordered K-9 to recapture the component. K-9 snorts when he laughs. He seems quite unintelligent and gullible, obeying Marvin without question. This changes in later shorts where K-9 carries an air of superiority over his owner. In the Duck Dodgers season 1 episode "K-9 Kaddy", K-9 proves to be ticklish when two alien gophers tickle his belly and chin with feathers.
K-9 appears in Bugs Bunny Builders in where he is a puppy.
