Kathleen Helppie-Shipley (born 13 September 1956) is an American animation producer and voice actress.
Biography[]
Helppie began her animation career at Warner Bros. as a secretary for director Friz Freleng. She was in charge of the Looney Tunes franchise longer than anyone else except studio founder Leon Schlesinger. She was working as a mapmaker for the studio when her cartoon voice was randomly discovered by Hollywood talent scouts. As senior producer, Helppie was nominated for six Annie awards, two of which she won.
She has done documentaries on a series of Bugs Bunny's Learning Adventures including Bugs Bunny's Elephant Parade, The World of Lions with Bugs Bunny, Bugs Bunny's Funky Monkeys, The World of Bears with Bugs Bunny, and Bugs Bunny's Silly Seals.
