Kristen Carroll Wiig (born 22 August 1973) is an American actress, comedienne, and screenwriter. She is best known for her roles in Saturday Night Live and the movie Bridesmaids.
In Saturday Night Live, her recurring characters were Shana (a sexy redhead whose gross behavior was overlooked by whoever played her boyfriend [usually the host for the episode, such as John Malkovich, Charles Barkley, and Bryan Cranston]), Aunt Linda (Amy Poehler's fictional aunt who gave shallow reviews of movies), Dooneese (a mutant sister singing act from The Lawrence Welk Show), Triangle Sally (a woman in 1980s workout gear who played the triangle), and The Target Lady (an overly-excited cashier for the department story Target). Her celebrity impressions include Drew Barrymore, Bjork, Judy Garland (as herself, not as her character, Dorothy, from The Wizard of Oz), Madonna, Suze Orman, Lana Del Rey (on a Weekend Update segment featured on the episode hosted by Channing Tatum in response to Del Rey's awful musical performance on the previous episode hosted by Daniel Radcliffe), and Kathy Lee Gifford.
Currently, Kristen Wiig has a main role playing Jenny Hart in Bless the Harts.
She voiced Lola Bunny in The Looney Tunes Show, replacing Kath Soucie, who voiced her in the movie Space Jam.
