Lenard Kester (10 May 1917 – 13 January 1997)[1][2] was an American artist who created backgrounds for Warner Bros. Cartoons. In an issue of The Exposure Sheet, published on 18 March 1940, it was announced that he had joined Friz Freleng's unit as a background painter.[3] It is unclear how long he has been at the studio and he was never credited for his work.
