Looney Tunes: Space Race is a 2000 video game developed by Infogrames, Inc. It was originally announced as a Nintendo 64 game in 1998,[1] but was later moved to the Dreamcast.[2]. It was ported to the PlayStation 2 in 2002 (under the name "Space Race") with a new tournament mode.[3] It is a kart racing game, where one can throw weapons such as dynamite at other racers. The game was not an immediate success among critics, but the general consumer reception was good. To this day, the PS2 version in the UK remains a rarity, with the Dreamcast version being the most popular. WatchMojo placed it as their #2 pick in their "Top 10 Best Looney Tunes Video Games" list, behind Bugs Bunny and Taz: Time Busters.[4]

- ACME Bomb: A classic exploding bomb that can be thrown. It has a short fuse though and can blow up on the player if not thrown in time.
- Disintegrator Pistol: A pistol in which can be fired at the opponent in front to temporarily stun the nearest opponents. Anyone hit by a Disintegrator Pistol is disintegrated, and then respawn after a few seconds.
- Instant Storm: A spray can that unleashes a black thunder cloud. It will hover above an opponent and electrocute them.
- Portable Hole: Placed behind the player, these black holes cause traps that will force opponents to fall through the floor.
- Kablooey Rockets: Home in opponents in front, or can be launched backwards.
- Heavy Objects Remote: Players are given a remote. When pressed, this button drops either a piano, a 1 ton weight, a safe, an anvil or an elephant onto the opponent in front of you. The elephant flies to target the player in first. The color of the remote will denote which object is used.
- Boxing Glove: On an extendable arm, players can knock their opponents out.
- Four Leaf Clover: Protects the player from harm temporarily. Pianos/weights will miss, bombs will be harmless, occasionally items targeting the player will backfire on their user, and it also gives the player a small speed boost.
