Errata[]

  • Page 13 shows a scene from one cartoon, with the caption reading "[Bugs Bunny is] unflappable as Humphrey Bogart when he's held up in Bonanza Bunny", but the screencap is actually from "Barbary-Coast Bunny".
  • Page 27 mentions both "Drip-Along Daffy" and "My Little Duckaroo", but with multiple errors:
    • The section describing "Drip-Along Daffy" is under the header, The Masked Avenger, while the section for "My Little Duckaroo" is under the header The return of Dripalong. In actuality, Daffy plays Dripalong in "Drip-Along Daffy" and the Masked Avenger in "My Little Duckaroo". Despite the names of the roles being switched in the headers, the correct roles are identified in the sections themselves.
    • Only the section for "My Little Duckaroo" mentions Porky as his "grizzled, comic sidekick", but also erroneously states that "much to the duck's frustration, it's Porky who brings down the bad guy and becomes the true hero". This actually happens in "Drip-Along Daffy". In "My Little Duckaroo", the cartoon ended with Daffy getting beat up by Canasta, while Porky didn't do anything to help.
  • Page 33 shows a scene from "Get Rich Quick Porky", but the caption erroneously claims it being from "Porky and Gabby".
  • Page 51 includes a character description for Mrs. Daffy Duck, except here, she's identified as Daphne for all of her appearances, whereas she was only given this name in "Stork Naked". Oddly, a picture of Daphne from "Stork Naked" is shown, but the cartoon itself is not mentioned in the description. The page also states that Daffy was "duck-pecked" for three cartoons ("Wise Quacks", "The Henpecked Duck", and "Quackodile Tears") but also leaves out "The Stupid Cupid". Also, the version of Mrs. Daffy Duck that appears in "Quackodile Tears" is named Honeybunch.
  • Page 57 shows a scene from "Kitty Kornered" with the cats partying after having thrown Porky out of the house. However, the caption incorrectly mentions them caterwauling "Auld Lang Syne", when in the actual cartoon, they drunkenly sing "There's No Place Like Home".
  • The Judge's Honorable Mention nomination on page 91 shows a scene from "The Ducksters", but mis-identifies Porky as Elmer Fudd.
  • Pages 58 and 62, Hector the Bulldog is erroneously referred to as "Spike" instead of his actual name, despite that Hector's name has been officially canonized in the TV series The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries in 1995, exactly eight years before this book is published, which said TV show is surprisingly not mentioned in this book for unknown reasons.
  • On Page 96, the caption pointing at Spike had accidentally mistook Spike for Chester ("Big, bad bully dog Chester").
