Looney Tunes Showcase: Volume 1 is a Blu-ray disc by Warner Home Video. It was released on January 10, 2012. It contains 25 Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies and numerous supplements.[1][2][3] It is a separate release of Disc 1 of Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume 1.
This was to be the successor of the Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection, released as an economical option to the Platinum Collection, but due to low budgets in remastering the shorts and poor sales, such plans were aborted.
