Controversy []
- This DVD release (along with Looney Tunes Super Stars' Daffy Duck: Frustrated Fowl) has caused controversy because all the post-1953 shorts are only available in a cropped widescreen format, which cuts off the top and bottom of the shorts (cutting off some details and visual gags). Because of this, all future Super Stars sets either gave the option to be watched in the original aspect ratio (Looney Tunes Super Stars' Foghorn Leghorn & Friends: Barnyard Bigmouth, Looney Tunes Super Stars' Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote: Supergenius Hijinks, and Looney Tunes Super Stars' Pepé Le Pew: Zee Best of Zee Best) or had no widescreen option available in the last two DVD sets (Looney Tunes Super Stars' Porky & Friends: Hilarious Ham and Looney Tunes Super Stars' Sylvester & Hippety Hopper: Marsupial Mayhem).
- "Bedevilled Rabbit", "Dr. Devil and Mr. Hare" and "Mad as a Mars Hare" were eventually made available on Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume 1, while "Apes of Wrath" was featured on both Stars of Space Jam: Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes: Parodies Collection, and "Lighter Than Hare" was featured as a bonus cartoon on Looney Tunes Collector's Choice: Volume 4. The remainder of the post-1953 cartoons appear in uncropped form on Bugs Bunny 80th Anniversary Collection.

Notes[]
- On 11 January 2010, the original list of cartoons included on the DVD set was posted, which was quickly changed to the final version's lineup. While "Which is Witch" was likely axed due to executive backlash from Warner Home Video regarding the inclusion of politically incorrect shorts on a DVD set marketed for family-friendly audiences,[1] the rest were likely axed as there were problems with restoring the shorts and Warner Home Video wanted the set out as quickly as possible. The original list of cartoons was as follows:
"No Parking Hare" (axed)
"Jack-Wabbit and the Beanstalk" (axed)
"Hold the Lion, Please" (axed)
"What's Cookin' Doc?" (axed)
"Which Is Witch" (axed)
"Mutiny on the Bunny"
"Bushy Hare"
"Hare We Go"
"Rabbit Every Monday" (axed)
"The Fair Haired Hare" (axed)
"Foxy by Proxy"
"Hare Lift" (axed)
"Upswept Hare"
(axed)
"Hare Trimmed"
"Robot Rabbit" (axed)
- Of all the cartoons in the line-up, only "Mutiny on the Bunny", "Bushy Hare", "Hare We Go", "Foxy by Proxy" and "Hare Trimmed" remained on the final version of the DVD set.
- The majority of these would later be on the Bugs Bunny 80th Anniversary Collection Blu-ray, while "Which is Witch" has yet to appear on any home media at the moment.
