MeTV Toons is a broadcast television network owned by Weigel Broadcasting and Warner Bros. Discovery. The network focuses on classic animated series from the 1930s through the 2000s. Officially announced on 2 May 2024, the network launched on 25 June. Bob Bergen, one of the current voices for Porky Pig, serves as the network's announcer. Classic cartoon series already airing on MeTV, such as Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and The Flintstones, are featured, as well as series such as Scooby-Doo, Wacky Races, Josie and the Pussycats, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and even more modern series such as The Mask and Freakazoid![1][2]
Unlike Cartoon Network, which was limited to only showing the cartoons in the Associated Artists Productions package at launch and for the first few years of its existence, MeTV Toons has access to the entire Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies library upon launch, including the shorts in the Sunset Productions and post-1948 WB packages. The first Looney Tunes short to air on the network was "What's Cookin' Doc?"
The network is available over-the-air in a select few markets and on the Frndly and Philo streaming platforms.
