Peter Rabbit is told by his mother to watch out for his baby brother Elmer Rabbit while she is out of the house for shopping. A weasel has other plans for Elmer after he hears the older brother sing "My Green Fedora".

Even though he does not appear in this cartoon, the Boomerang app erroneously listed this as an Elmer Fudd short, most likely because the cartoon features a different character named Elmer.
Bob Clampett claims that the story of this cartoon was submitted to Friz Freleng during a contest held by the studio. Ultimately, Clampett's story won and was made as this short.^[4]
