Nelson Demorest (31 January 1906 - 13 September 1992) was an American animator. He worked for Leon Schlesinger Productions and Fleischer Studios.
Career[]

Nelson began working at Leon Schlesinger Productions on the Buddy cartoons and later for Frank Tashlin. He was later hired by Fleischer Studios to work at their new Miami studio where he served as an animator on their two feature films Gulliver's Travels, where he was the model for rotoscoping the character Gulliver, and Mr. Bug Goes to Town.[1] He died in his home at California at the age of 86.[2]
