Maxwell Emmett "Pat" Buttram (19 June 1915 - 8 January 1994) was an American actor, known for playing Mr. Haney in Green Acres. He also did voice work for six Disney films including The Aristocats, Robin Hood, The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and A Goofy Movie, the last of which was released one year after his death. He had a distinctive voice that has been described as a "handful of gravel being thrown into a Mix Master." Pat died of kidney failure in 1994 in Los Angeles, California, aged 78.[1] He was buried at the cemetery at The Maxwell Chapel United Methodist Church in Haleyville.
