Porky's Naughty Nephew is a 1938 Looney Tunes short directed by Bob Clampett.

Plot[]

Porky goes to the beach with his nephew, Pinky. Porky attempts to take a nap, but Pinky whacks him with a shovel. Then, Pinky fakes his own drowning in a pool. Finally, Porky enters a swimming contest, and Pinky tries to scare him by sending a fake shark after him.

  • When independent station WKBD ran this short in the 1980s, the first 4 minutes were cut due to time constraints, so the cartoon now begins with the animals lining up for the swimming race.[3] This means the short only ran at about half of its original runtime.
