Rita is a character in Animaniacs.

Description

Rita is a singing cat. She was dumped by her female owner, who thought Rita was "too independent." She speaks with a New York accent, has a pessimistic view on life, and finds humans to be very untrustworthy. In every big episode, she would break into song. Although she gets annoyed with Runt's stupidity and constant chattering, she views him as her best friend.
