Shorty is a bunny who is Pete Puma's prey and a friend of Bugs Bunny. He talks quickly in a very high-pitched, squeaky voice that is somewhat difficult to understand, though Bugs is able to make out what he is saying.
Appearances
Shorty appeared in "Rabbit's Kin". He runs frantically screaming for help and tripped into Bugs' hole. He then explains to him that a big "snarling beast" is after him and Bugs deduces the beast as Pete Puma and decides to help Shorty. After outsmarting the dimwitted puma several times, Shorty grows fond of the experience.
Trivia
- The exact relationship between Shorty and Bugs Bunny is never stated, but in the audio commentary for "Rabbit's Kin" on Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 1, Stan Freberg refers to him as Bugs' nephew.
