Snafuperman is a 1944 Private Snafu short directed by Friz Freleng.
Plot[]
Technical Fairy, First Class, a miniature, shirtless, gravel-voiced G.I. with wings, grants Private Snafu the powers of Superman in order to fight the Nazis. But Snafu is still Snafu. Even with his new powers, he screws things up by refusing to read his training manuals.

- This is one of the first Warner Bros. cartoons to parody Superman. The first was "Super-Rabbit". Others include "Stupor Duck", "Superbabs" and "Just-Us League of Supertoons" (both from Tiny Toon Adventures).
- Is in the public domain, since the cartoon, as well as many other Private Snafu cartoons, are made by the U.S. government, then declassified some years later.
