Notes[]

  • Because the cartoon has no dialogue, the European Turner dubbed print preserves the original Blue Ribbon 1951-52 ending card. However, the USA Turner dubbed print for reasons unknown, does not keep the Blue Ribbon end card.
    • Though the European Turner print uses the original ending card, CN Spain and other recent airings of this short in Europe actually use the 1995 ending card instead.
  • The reissue print is copyrighted MCMXLIV (1944), instead of MCMXLI (1941).
  • This is presumably the first cartoon to use the purple-blue Color Rings.
  • The Blue Ribbon opening titles on the 2020 restoration use the 1943-44 rings instead of the 1951-52 rings, as they are very similar looking. The ending card is not affected by this change. This also happens in the 2020 restoration of "The Sneezing Weasel".
  • The lobby cards refer to this short under the name Snow Time for Comedy. As this short was reissued and the original titles remain lost, it is unknown if this was the actual title. Curiously, the title on the lobby card is in the same font as the titles for "Good Night Elmer" and "Elmer's Pet Rabbit".
