- This is the final short of Season 3.
- This short is very similar to Knighty Knight Bugs in that it takes place during the Medieval period, stars Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam who clash over a sword, and features a fire-breathing dragon.
- Furthermore, Knighty Knight Bugs features the mythical King Arthur and Knights of the Round Table, and Sword Loser centers around Excalibur (the sword in the stone) which King Arthur used.
